Karsen B. Worm (Common name Karsen) is an artist native to the Northwest Arkansas Ozarks and is commonly spotted at the University of Arkansas where the organism Majored in Art and minored in Entomology. At this lifecycle stage the artist spends time collecting materials to create images in what appears to be a desperate attempt to express feelings. Karsen has been recorded making paintings, textiles, photographs, and ceramics, but prefers to work by mixing media. The work produced often revolves around themes of self, internal systems, metamorphosis, and healing, leading researchers to conclude that this organism is “...so totally self-obsessed”
